Mexico Mission

Faith Community,
Hello again !! Just to update you, things are going extremely well here in
Mexico. I could not have asked God for a better group of people to do missions
with. Everyone here is truly a blessing and contributes equally to the spreading
of God's love. In our lingo, it is " off the hook" !! . I am so
pleased to see the work that God is doing in these kids. The first night we
did VBS, 8 kids gave their lives to Christ. The Holy Spirit pours out in these
people, like a river flowing from heaven. The Mexican people respond so well
to our presence, and they in turn welcome us in with no questions asked. I
hope that everything at home is safe and sound, I also ask that you continue
to pray for this trip, because I am sure God is not done with his miracles
yet !!
Thank you again
Abbie Ries and the Mexico Missions Team.

Faith Community Fellowship,
Well, all is well that ends well I suppose. We left Florida with sad hearts
and a new appreciation for what we are given as a necessity everyday. The
Lord has really blessed the Florida Team, in ways words can't describe. As
a team we learned the value of the hard earned dollar, and the gratefulness
of having God in our lives. The Santana's have a true servants hearts, and
we all should be so lucky to experience the ways God works in people's hearts.
As a missions team we donated $621.00 dollars to the Bread of Life, and we
also purchased about 10 pairs of shoes. I could not thank that mission enough
for showing me how to be merciful to others, and I am eternally grateful for
that. Pastor Julio, Miss Elba, Pedro and their "family" are amazing.
RJ and myself had a long day yesterday, with being on a plane
for about 6 hours, but we are elated to be here in Arizona and see where God
is going to use us. We had full intent of working on the Indian Reservation,
then coming down to Naco. But, as God would have it, the Reservation did not
need us as much as the churches in Naco did. It's crazy how He works, we were
all fretting over how we were going to do VBS for only 2 days, but now there
are no worries and we are greatly awaiting getting to work with the kids.
We were sad to find out that the Pastor of the churches, Jorge, got himself
and his family green cards and are now living in Oregon. Well, I guess its
a good thing, but we were sure looking forward to seeing them again. So long
for now.......
May the Lord Bless you and Keep you,
Abbie Ries and the Mexico Missions Team
