E-mails from The Youth Group
Florida Mission
Faith Community Fellowship,
Hello all, just another update from Florida !! Everything here is going extremely
well, God is so incredible and I am just astonished of the work he is doing
in the people's hearts. We attended a Hispanic church service last night,
and it was phenominal. The Holy Spirit was moving and God was using us as
well as the people there. RJ was asked to preach and he gave a sermon about
stepping out of your comfort zone for Jesus, and it was so incredible how
God spoke through RJ, the church even provided an interpreter for him so he
could reach the non-English speaking people. That church is definately on
fire for God, and the youth there are all so blessed by the Holy Spirit, they
truly live out there spiritual act of worship and to the best of their ability
they serve God. I have never seen such young people step out in faith for
God. The music there was amazing, the people there were unlike any I know.
They welcomed us right in, and treated us as one of their own. The church
took up an offering for us, just because we went to the service and that they
knew that we were working on missions for the Bread of Life. God has made
himself known through his grace and giving this week. He is truly blessing
our lives with these kids that we are ministering to. They come from homes
without structure, and they find it here. Pastor Julio, his wife, Pedro, and
the people that work in this missions are so selfless its unbelievable. I
am learning alot from these people, and what it means to have a servant's
heart. We gave out shoes yesterday, and these kids are so grateful for the
offering that they get. Althought sometimes they don't understand how to balance
necessities with luxeries, but that is what the missions here is trying to
correct. This place is truly inspiring us to surrender our lives to Jesus
everyday, and when we do, he will work wonders !! I ask that you continue
to keep us in your prayers, and pray the Holy Spirit would continue to antoint
us.
Thank you for your everything,

Hello, all is well in Florida !! We arrived here safe and sound..
more safe than sound !! We are all loud and crazy.. but that is what is making
this trip a blast! No one has gotten sick and spirits are high. Pastor Julio
and Miss Elba, Pedro ( their son ) and his kids are a complete blessing to
our lives !! They are living out their spiritually act of worship through
this ministry. They have their own thrift store and pass out food once a week, they
help families get their kids school suppilies and they have a tutoring program.
The kids here are absolutely wonderful, although the younger ones don't speak
English, they are a hoot and a hawler ! I am just letting the church know
that God is really working in our lives, and He has so much more instore for
the team as well as the those we are ministering to !!
In God's love,
